At West Coast Reptile Productions we are committed to customer service. In order to insure that every transaction is given the proper attention, we ask that you familiarize yourself with our terms prior to committing to the purchase of an animal or product.
 
Pricing
We make every effort to make sure that our prices are competitive. However, market trends occasionally dictate an adjustment to a previously posted price. Therefore, we encourage you to contact us by phone or e-mail for current pricing.
 
Reservations of Potential Offspring
Should you choose to reserve potential offspring, we require a 25% deposit in order to be placed on a waiting list. Receipt of this deposit guarantees your place on the waiting list, locks in the purchase price, and insures your commitment to buy the animal. Deposits are nonrefundable unless we are unable to produce the animal to fill your order. If this occurs, we will either apply your deposit to a future order, or we will refund your deposit in full. If we produce the animal to fill your order, full payment or entry into a payment plan will be necessary once the animal is mature enough for shipment.
 
Reservations or Holds on Available Animals
Should you choose to reserve an animal, we require a 25% deposit in order to place the animal on hold. Receipt of this deposit locks in the purchase price and insures your commitment to buy the animal. Holds are good for 5 business days before you are required to provide full payment or enter into a payment plan. Deposits are nonrefundable, but they can be transferred to a future purchase should you choose to remove the hold.
 
Payments
We accept all major forms of payment (including PayPal). Prior to shipping, all transactions must be paid in full. If you are paying with a business or personal check, a hold will be placed on the payment until it clears our bank. This typically takes 10 business days.
 
Financing
Interest free short term financing is available for approved purchases. To initiate the financing process, we require a 25% deposit in order to place an animal on hold. Receipt of this deposit locks in the purchase price and insures your commitment to buy the animal. The remaining balance will be paid in three monthly installments that are equal to 25% of the original purchase price. Should you fall behind on payments, additional boarding fees will be assessed at our current rates. All payments are nonrefundable unless we are unable to provide the animal to fill your order. In this case, we will either apply your payments to a future order, or we will refund them in full.
 
Live Animal Guarantee
All animals are guaranteed to arrive alive and in good health. Should you have a problem with your shipment, please contact us immediately. If you fail to notify us within 24 hours of delivery, we will not be able to honor our live animal guarantee.
 
General Shipping Information
All orders are shipped in insulated containers with heat or cold packs when necessary. However, animals will only be shipped as weather permits. If weather conditions are not favorable for shipment, we will gladly care for your animal (free of charge) until conditions are appropriate.
 
With all shipments, we respectfully request that you phone or e-mail us at your earliest convenience to let us know that the package has arrived. When doing so, please report any abnormalities with regard to the packaging or contents. This will help us to initiate any refund procedures that may be necessary. Of course, if everything arrives in perfect condition, we would like to know that as well.
 
FedEx Shipping
For domestic orders, we are an approved live animal shipper with FedEx. All FedEx deliveries are sent using their overnight options and require an adult to be present to sign for the package. Upon arrival, please check your shipment immediately. If there are any abnormalities, contact us directly to discuss your concerns and initiate any refund procedure that may be necessary.
 
Delta DASH Shipping
For domestic orders, we are an approved live animal shipper with Delta. Due to cost constraints, we reserve this method of shipment for large orders, or for costly orders that cannot be replaced. When using Delta, the airline requires pickup at your airport's cargo counter within 2 hours of arrival. When signing for your shipment, please inspect the contents in front of the carrier's representative. If there are any abnormalities, you must file a claim with the representative before leaving the airport. This will initiate the refund process that is provided by the carrier. To further assist with your claim, please contact us as well.
 
Returns
At West Coast Reptile Productions we make every effort to insure that all of our animals and products are represented fairly and accurately. To avoid the possibility of a return, we respectfully ask that you work thoroughly with our sales associate prior to purchasing an item that may not fit your needs. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, we ask that you contact us within 24 hours of delivery to discuss the possibility of a refund. If a refund is necessary, credit will be given towards a future purchase. As a side note, the original shipping fees and the return shipping fees will be the customer's responsibility.
